UNICEF Report about Children Accused for ''Terror Crimes''
İSTANBUL | 13 – 01 – 2010 | In a report stemming from visits to the provinces of Adana and Hakkari in March 2009, UNICEF Turkey demands to protect the right to life for children who attended demonstrations. The report furthermore recommends amendments of the Anti-Terror Law. The Turkish representation of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said that the government did not yield any results regarding the prosecution of children that participated in demonstrations and as a deterrent stand accused for terrorist crimes. UNICEF recommended to refrain from trying children "under the same conditions as adults" to prevent a victimization of the children.

Solidarity with the attacked African (illegal, legal) migrants!
ATİK | 13 – 01 – 2010 | The hysteric aggression against migrants in Italy-Rosarno is ‘modern slavery racism’!
In South Italy, in the Calabria region in Rosarno, new attacks occurred against semi-legal or illegal migrants that are brought into the region for seasonal agricultural work. The original source of the conflicts in the town has been the violent measurements against the migrant worker’s legitimate mass action by the Rosarno police and carabinieri teams, after the racist-fascist-mafia circles had injured two migrants with firearms. Migrants are moving to protest against the inhumane treatments, humiliations, discrimination and racist aggression of the past months in Rosario. With their legitimate upraising, they have presented a new example of the tradition of civil courage.

''Education is NOT for $A£€ - Global Week of Action''
WORLD | 13 - 11 - 2009 | After the "International Day of Action against the Commercialisation of Education" [05/11/2008] and the "Reclaim your Education - Global Week of Action" [20 - 29/04/2009] activists from various countries agreed to call for another Global Week of Action later this year: Nov. 5th 2009 ["Warm-up" Day of united Action] + Nov.9th - 18th 2009.
Why this time frame? Last year on Nov.5th this platform called for the "International Day of Action against the Commercialisation of Education". To have some sort of continuation we agreed during an international chat, that Nov.5th should be the "Warm-up day of united action". Nov.17th marks the "International Students' Day". Groups on the Philippines are already planning protests against the commercialisation of education on that day.

END TO DECEPTION AND DISTRACTION GAMES; FREEDOM FOR THE KURDISH NATION
ATİK
The ruling forces of Republic of Turkey (RT) were heavily disappointed after the local election of March 29, 2009 in Kurdistan (Turkey). The Kurdish nation had rallied behind DTP (Turkish acronyms for Democratic Society Party), which came out of the elections as even a stronger party. Threatened by the election results, the ruling forces began new annihilation plans against the Kurdish national movement. They presented their new plans under names such as ‘solution’, ‘peace’, and ‘overture’, which are essentially nothing but a strategy to liquidate the national movement and re-establish their weakened reign.
